Life can be so very, very cruel...

For example, why can my refrigerator look like this the day before I stop drinking for a while?...

Life is hard. And full of so many choices...

oh and i found my christmas movie for the year...

prepare to get slapped.

a-maz-ing...

in general. so i love the dvr. hate the cable company but love the product. at any rate, i just finished watching a show i dvr'ed called The Human Camera on bbc america. it is about an autistic savant who can look at something for about 10 minutes and then recreate it with only his memory. this same someone didn't actually really talk until at least the age of six but as soon as the people around him realized he could draw, they would give him paper to draw on. and the drawings are amazing. incredibly amazing. go here to see the panorama he drew from memory after a 15 minute helicopter ride... go here and here to see something that i saw but wouldn't have been able to draw for anything in the world.

amazing. makes me want to travel even more. like i've missed even the things that i've seen so far...

here's a picture of one of the places i want to see more than anything in the world...

anybody want to go with? darwin's world? who wouldn't want to go...

i would just like the ladies out there to remember to vote. this movie won't just make you want to vote, it will make you feel obligated. get out there this november. but don't forget to look at the issues. and understand them.

we need to get out in record numbers this year.

fuck - i was really excited...

to see the first female republican vice president candidate speak. history is history! but i'm not too excited anymore.

1. she knows 2 military men... so she's cool. who doesn't?
2. if you have kids with special needs, you'll have a friend in the white house if you elect them. democrats hate the special needs people...
3. the hockey mom/pit bull joke was funny.
4. i don't like people being condescending. on either side of the line.
5. did some lady just get the ghost in her? fucking cable sucks. froze up ... please stand by... can time warner suck my ass any more?
6. did she get boo'ed?
7. now i'm all discombobulated... i hate time warner.
8. people don't need to be read their rights anymore?

i hate missing shit.

oh hey! did mccain fight in a war? was he a pow? really? i hadn't heard...

oh my god!!! did mccain just show up!!?!?!? fascinating!!! throw the baby! i need to be by my man!

ummm - no mccain. no right choice. choice isn't possible - remember?.

what i find hysterical is that i swear i heard them playing dixie chicks in between speakers.

something to remember. get out and vote! There is a right choice! This isn't it!

i planned on giving you one...

i liked huckabee's speech. i thought it was funny. he delivered it well. i was actually a little confused in the beginning about whose side he was on, but he seemed to get back on track. and he told a very moving story about a teacher, her classes, and some soldiers. great story. really great. too bad democrats don't believe in the troops...
so i did heart huckabee for a bit there. even if he does look a little like gomer pyle.

BUT guliani's on. and he's an idiot. and romney actually sucked in my opinion.

i have a bet out there that if guliani doesn't mention 9/11 five times, i owe money. time to keep track...

cleary this was during lieberman's speech...

cat
more animals

I feel your pain - man. I feel your pain...

"The Maverick - and hey look! a girl too!" Party...

i only wish i could be as 'mavericky' as mccain and palin. i only wish i could be so concerned with just me as them. i only wish i could care so little for the environment as to push the oil drilling to the detriment of anything or anyone else. polar bear? fuck you. oceans? environment? go to hell.

i only wish i could go up to a little girl molested by her father and say well i've made the rules and you have to have that baby. good luck. and don't teach about sex in schools or believe in birth control. let everyone walk around dumb, spitting out babies that you won't be able to take care of because there won't be welfare or social security or health care to take care of them...

and i only wish i could be as dumb as they clearly think women are. while some are actually trying to say palin wasn't picked for being a women, they are not doing a very good job at it. ridge actually smirked and wouldn't answer the question as to if she'd be on the ticket if hillary was. and another speaker called her sarah pawlenty. nice. there are only two names to remember... mccain and palin... can't be that hard.

and why is the law & order jackass mumbling at me. hey fucker - get the marbles out of your ass. because that is clearly what you're talking out of.

look, i understand the man went to war. yes, he got caught. great. and now he's out. woohoo. what else you got?

thompson - do you realize the story you're telling about how mccain was treated as a pow is exactly how we (the great u s of a) treated prisoners not too long ago? and still will? is that ok though? because it's us and they are them? and you tearing up is bullshit. you're an actor. i didn't even buy it that much on the show.

her credentials include being able to field-dress moose? are you fucking kidding me? it's funny. sure. but that's all you got? then you moved on? smooth like an ex lax...

i also get that the job of these conventions are to talk about how bad the other side is (and people were complaining that the dems didn't do that enough), but can we please - for the love of christ (see, i threw that in for you) - talk about what the hell you would do for me?

and did thompson just make a comment about obama reading a teleprompter? really? give your speech without it. better yet, get grandpa mccain to do it ...

i have got to turn the fucking channel. and fast... "jod bless america"
